When Gumbo wins the contest his father turns his back on him. But when Gumbo's father sees how the critters of Lost Lagoon love Gumbo's "swamp music," he becomes Gumbo's biggest fan.
"Classical Gumbo"____Gumbo uses the "clams" he won in the fiddling contest to build a music institute to teach the young critters of the swamp how to play classical music. The critters of Lost Lagoon learn that if you can play classical music,you can play any kind of music, including "swamp music."
